CBAH, Inc Home Health and Education Services is proud to serve the communities in Broward and West Palm Beach with these high quality services. These services are provided by healthcare and allied health professionals, who are thoroughly background checked and extensively trained.
- Companion – services consist of non- medical care, supervision and socialization activities provided to an adult on a one-on-one basis. A companion provider assists the individual with such tasks as meal preparation, laundry, shopping, and light housekeeping. No hands-on medical care is done.
- Homemaker – A homemaker does household chores that include housekeeping, cooking, shopping assistance, laundry, and other routine household tasks
- Personal Care Assistance – a service that assists an individual or their caregiver with eating and meal preparation, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and activities of daily living when these activities are essential to the health and welfare of the individual.
- Respite – a service that provides supportive care and supervision to an individual when the primary caregiver is unable to perform these duties.
Other Services offered
- In-Home Support –a service that provides companionship and personal care, as well as activities of daily living and other duties necessary to maintain an individual in their own home.
- Residential Habilitation – specific training activities provided that assist in acquiring, maintaining, or improving skills related to activities of daily living.
- Assistance with Chores – Regular cleaning and heavy household tasks
- Educational Health Programs – We provides quality training to prepare students for job opportunities in the health care profession. Our classroom is furnished with comprehensive training equipment in order for students to get the extensive knowledge and experience necessary for job placement.
Certifications:
- Home Health Aide Certification
- Certified Nursing Assistant program with requirement to sit the Florida State Examination
- Ongoing In Service updates
Admission Requirements:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old
- Proof of Residency
- Physical Examination signed by a MD or Nurse Practitioner
- Completion of an Enrollment Agreement
Our services for individuals are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our personnel at CBAH, Inc Home Health and Education Services can be reached through the use of a business phone and a cellular phone. An answering machine is attached to both telephone numbers, allowing the beneficiaries to leave a detailed message.
